Warm, rich, and gooey. We took our bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout and added mounds of cacao nibs and marshmallows for a grown-up version of this classic treat. Graham cracker and vanilla round out the flavor profile for a nostalgic experience that pairs perfectly with a roaring fire and great friends.

16oz can poured into a snifter
Canned 2019
A- pours jet black in color with a one finger foamy khaki head that leaves quickly, leaving nothing behind
S- opens with a peanuty aroma, perhaps from the bourbon barrel, which adds strong oak initially with bourbon and caramel. Charred malt and dark chocolate, light marshmallow, not finding any Graham cracker.
T- dark chocolate and charred malt up front quickly give way to the barrel, which adds peanuty barrel juice and caramel. Mid-palate gives some marshmallow cream and caramel, as well as brownie batter. The finish gives more brownie batter and barrel, which sticks around on the linger
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a slick mouthfeel that continues into a warming finish. Can gushed upon opening so carbonation was probably compromised

I think we broke this out when Mom was in town to see the new baby.
Dark brown/black pour, brown head 1/2". Nice looking product. The aroma was mostly Black Tuesday, i.e. big ass stout roasted malt and bourbon. But there was enough nuance to it to make out some sugary mallow like content.
Taste brought even more nuance and the graham cracker portion of the beer reared its pretty head. Still banging everything doing the tandem with each other, roasted malt, bourbon influx, chocolate, marshmallow like brown sugar influence, graham cracker. To get graham cracker to come through is an engineering feat which they should be proud of. Never comes off sugary. Lower carbonation strikes me as appropriately allowing for all these nuances for which bArF speaks to come to fruition. This beer is very nice, very evil.
The mouthfeel is amazingly creamy while displaying roasted malt and keeping the beetus away. Another example of why Bruery is the go to for giant barrel aged stouts.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours jet black with quickly dissipating heat. Nose is marshmallow, graham cracker, fudge, toffee. Taste is amazing. Rich dark chocolate, cherries, marshmallow, vanilla, cookies, and malts. A bit of bourbon comes through. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy.

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a dense and rocky two and a half finger tan head which fades somewhat quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of a boatload of chocolate and vanilla with some marshmallow notes along with some nice oaky barrel influence
T: Taste is chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, slight graham cracker, oak, roasted malts, slight coffee, but a lot of chocolate, and marshmallow notes with the graham cracker like flavor along with some great barrel character. On the swallow there's a good amount of bourbon barrel followed by more chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, and graham cracker.
M: This beer has a fairly full and silky feel on the palate but it does seem to border on medium at times. Carbonation is low but it is still felt on the tongue which is fine for the style while the ABV ensures that this beer has a drying finish.
O: Overall this is a really solid beer. It has some great flavors that work really well with the base beer. There's a lot going on with this beer but I feel like the execution was top notch. Definitely one to try and I hope they bring it back.

Poured from the bottle into a Bruery tulip glass.
Deep mahogany brown body color with a large red hue to it. Very opaque and making a gorgeous forming mocha head of a nice two simple fingers. Real fine bubbles in the head, that dissolve to a thick crowned collar as it slowly settles. Great looking stout.
Aroma is a real interesting mix. Soft caramel notes both in a sticky and a woody tone that come out like butter. Few hints of graham quality and some more sticky malt almost maple like roast character. Nice subtle vanilla also, almost thick sensing, but there's only a faint chocolate angle on here, that isn't very distinct. Still exceptional on the nose though.
Palate makes some real nice flavors. Soft and silky mouthfeel accompanying a real delicate graham and roast malt quality. Hints milky to vanilla sweet, with an excellent char and boozy texture. Aftertaste has a real pie crust character that is particularly impressive, even a bit burnt/charred in the mix as well. Hints more of a whipped mocha flavor as well.
Very nicely executed flavors and memorable brew.
