12.7 ounce wax capped bottle, 2021 edition, bottled 11/22/21. Served in a Black Tuesday chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that didn't stick around too long. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark fruit, roasted malt, vanilla, brandy, bourbon and some coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread, molasses, dark chocolate and earthy flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Definitely a sipping beer as it's still boozy, some more age wouldn't hurt it but it's drinking good now. I liked this one overall, worth trying if you get the chance!

2019 Vintage
A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer which is topped by a small light tan head which quickly disappears without much of a trace
S: Smells of fudgy chocolate and brandy barrels along with some roasted malts and a touck of oaky bourbon
T: Taste is oak, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, brandy, vanilla, and caramel with some hints of dark fruits as well. On the finish there's more dark fruits, a pop of ethanol, more brandy, a touch of red berries, oak, chocolate, and roasted malts.
M: This beer has a body which has a moderate amount of heft and a slightly syrupy feel. Carbonation is on the low end but it is fine for the style and the ABV. The high ABV gives this one a drying finish.
O: Overall this beer is really nice. It has some good great flavors and a really nice amount of complexity. It's worth a try if you can find it.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter, 2025 edition with a BIG thanks to Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This stunner pours a muddled blackish brown with a faint head of fizzling foam that leaves a
razor thin ring and subtle dusty layer with some nice legs. Nose of rich bourbon, oak, rich
vanilla, dark chocolate, subtle char, dark berry notes, and subtle dark coffee dashed with brandy.
Flavors follow the nose and find 11 on the amplifier. Dark chocolate truffle drenched in mellow sweet
bourbon, mellow oak, rich bourbon, and intense dark berry notes of blackberry and
raspberry dashed with dark coffee and vinous brandy notes and medium char. Mouth feel is full,
smooth, rich, coating, very warming, faint carbonation, and a medium dry to dry finish.
Overall, this one is a pure stunner...it could do with a touch of aging (2 to 3 years) but
overall there is nowhere for it to go other than up!
The Bruery nails it!
Cheers

2025 version.
Pours black with deep brownish hue. Aroma is strong with distinct fig, bourbon and chocolate notes. Taste is even stronger & follows nose. The fig, bourbon's booziness, chocolate and vanilla are wonderfully balanced. Mouthfeel is medium bordering on full. Incredible Black Tuesday variant.

Dark ( almost black) color. Thin, beige head. Brandy, bourbon, and chocolate in the aroma. A bit too much booze in taste,e even after 3 years. Chocolate Rain with similar ABV tastes way more balanced and softer.

Cellared a year. Viscous black body with a light brown cap. "Your brewers (sic) were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." Black Tuesday is an institution, four barrels of aging seems a bit much. However somehow it is very boozy but not hot, I think the age helped. I would actually add another year to the aging if I had another bottle. So much bourbon exploding with molasses, caramel, and oak through the dark chocolate, vanilla, and dark fruits. The original much better but I would have this again, especially with more age

2020 version. This really should be separated into different beers given the different barrels. This is triple barrel-aged 2 years in bourbon and an additional year in rye. Poured at fridge temp. Pours black as night with no head. The nose is super intense, as expected. The bourbon and rye are right there on the nose. Wow. Intense. Hard to imagine I'm smelling beer. More like whiskey. Some roasted malts, berries, chocolate, and more bourbon!
The taste is freaking intense. Jesus. Is this bourbon? The barrel is front and center. Following that are lesser notes of toffee, chocolate, cherries, prunes, brandy, and booze!
The mouthfeel is medium bodied - the aftertaste is fruity and boozy. This packs a punch!

2021 Edition
Superb version of Black Tuesday. The apple brandy shines big here and melds perfectly with the classical BT flavors of chocolate, caramel, and raisin. There's a vague tannin-y wine flavor on the back end that transforms into sweet bourbon. Cherry also appears on the back.
The apple brandy really makes this even more of a treat, which I didn't think was possible. Well worth the price in my opinion.
