You know what they say: two Black Tuesdays are better than one. Two varieties of our most beloved and infamous beer get blended here, one aged in port-barrels and the other in red-wine. Both were aged for 24 months making this a two-year, two-barrel affair, aka double trouble, but the best kind.

So right out the gate, this is a blend of my least liked Black Tuesdays. Maybe we'll get lucky and the sum will be better than its parts I thought while blasting through the sportsbook during March Madness 2023. In a total reversal of fortune, this beer has more reviews here than the more popular website under the same ownership umbrella. All is not lost.
Pours black out the small 375ml bottle. The aroma lacks my appreciable bourbon nose, here you just get wine. I don't like port, I do like red wine, but at the same time, the red wine version of Black Tuesday, also not a fan. Old cigar, dark wood, dark fruit, leather bound books kind of an aroma.
The taste and mouthfeel were bitter boozy charred roasted malt and barrel heat. Kind of a dry finish was surprising, that red wine barrel took effect. I didn't get the port sweetness. It was just all ack. Low carbonation, heavy viscosity on a taste you don't jive with is a rough justice. Its a strange world, where Chocolate Rain and Black Tuesday are two of my all time favorite beers, but this aberration is like when they do a funky spin off show for something you like, but the next show sucks.

375ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring around the edge
S- huge red wine and port aromas on the nose that give aromas of black cherries, pipe tobacco, leather, strawberries, raspberry jam, raisins and black currants. Undertones of chocolate, toffee, vanilla and subtle oak. The wine barrels dominate
T- as with the aroma, port and red wine dominate the flavor up front. Tons of dark fruit flavors of black currant, fig, raisin, black cherry, strawberries and jammy berry preserves. Mid-palate gives flavors of cherry pipe tobacco, woody tannic oak, dark chocolate covered cherries and vanilla. The finish gives more of an onslaught of those dark fruity notes, with that boozy BT finish coming out at the end, more wine barrel on the linger
M- medium-heavy body with low carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a velvety, boozy and sweet finish
O- if you drink port and red wine, this is the beer for you. So fruity, jammy and earthy and it compliments the BT nearly perfectly

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer which is topped by a finger of dense and slightly rocky light tan head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of red berries, black currants, oak, chocolate, and coffee. The wine barrels are really dominant on the nose.
T: Taste is tannic oak, red berries, currants, chocolate, coffee, and some roasted malts. Tons of red wine flavor with a good amount of oak as well. On the finish there's more chocolate, oak, red berries, currants, coffee, and roasted malts.
M: This beer has a body which is on the upper side of medium with a slightly syrupy feel. Carbonation is on the low end but it's acceptable for the style. The beer has a slightly drying finish.
O: Overall this is a really nice offering. The beer has good flavors and a nice amount of complexity. Everything is well balanced and the barrel treatment is shining brightly. This would be nice to see come back.
