A big rich barleywine lends itself perfectly to flavors just as big. That’s why we loaded this Hoarders-only variant with tons of pecans and coconut. The nose is rich with freshly shredded coconut and mashed pecans, while the palate brings forth huge notes of fudge, lightly toasted coconut, and nutty pecans.

A: Poured into a snifter to a ruddy brown beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky quarter inch of cream colored head which fades slowly to a collar around the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of sweet vanilla, caramel, and a hint of coconut and pecans
T: Taste is caramel, vanilla, oak, pecans, and a ton of coconut to round things out. Fairly sweet and decadent with a touch of roasted malts toward the mid palate. On the swallow there's more oak, caramel, vanilla, coconut, and pecans with lingering caramel and vanilla sweetness.
M: This beer has a mouthfeel which is on the heavier side of medium with a slightly silky feel. Carbonation is on the low end of effervescent but it is adequate for the style while the beer has a drying finish due to the ABV.
O: Overall this is another welcome addition to the Mash line of adjuncted beers. Really nice flavors that help to enhance the flavors already found in the base beer. Very nice complexity and definitely not a one note beer.
