A: Poured into a snifter to a deep purpleish black beer with no head and no lacing due to the still packaging
S: Smells of red berries and cassis with some leather along with some hints of chocolate and woodspice
T: Taste is red berries, cassis, a little leather, roasted malts, apple brandy sweetness, some chocolate and a touch of coffee. On the finish there's more red berries, cassis, leather, roasted malts, apple brandy sweetness, cocoa powder and some lingering oak.
M: This beer has a full body on the palate with a slightly syrupy feel. No carbonation is expected while the beer has a drying finish due to the high ABV.
O: This is incredible. the only thing I wish it really brought to the party was a little more acid to brighten things up a little more. Great flavors and complexity on this one that make it really fun and interesting to drink

Look: very dark red brown. Indeed looks like a cross between a stout and a red wine.no head to speak of.
Smell: I’m no oenophile but it certainly has a nose like the better intense red wines I’ve had, and again blended with some roasty stout notes, and subtle bourbon.
Taste: wow, as expected, red wine and stout, but masterfully blended. Awesome.
