On cask at The Bruery, a special July 4th beer,
A: Pours a peach colour with an impressive thick white head out of the cask.
S: Much more fruit in the nose than the blueberry version, a lot of raspberries, perhaps due to the serving type, temperature or the fruit used, I'm not sure which.
T: More fruit as well in the flavour, a lot like raspberry lemonade, but if you had lacto-fermented it. Light funk is still noticable along with the lactic acid that this style always brings to the table and the tart raspberries.
M: Smoother than the blueberry, again this might be because it's on cask, light-bodied and acidic.
D: I wasn't as big a fan of this one as I was of the blueberry version, but it is still a quality effort. I probably would have preferred it served colder since it was so hot, mid-80s, all and all another good one from The Bruery.
