With all the nuanced complexity in this iteration, we’d be selling it a bit short if we say it’s just Black Tuesday. In typical Bruery fashion, we saw the opportunity to experiment and lay this beer to rest in new French oak puncheons. After three years of tasting, we finally felt the time had come to unleash this beer upon the world. Yes, it’s packaged still under cork. Yes, it’s void of bourbon character. Yes, it’s different. And, yes, it’s Still Black Tuesday.

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer which is topped by no head and has no lacing due to being packaged still.
S: Smells of oak barrels, chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee.
T: Taste is chocolate and oak barrels up front with some hints of coffee and roasted malts. There's also some charred woods and hints of cherry. On the finish there's a strong smack of oak, dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, and some lingering oak bringing some tanins, caramel and vanilla.
M: This beer has a body which is on the moderate side of things with a slightly oily feel. Carbonation is nonexistent and I wasn't expecting any while the beer finishes on the dry side of things due to the high ABV.
O: Overall this is pretty interesting. It brings another dimension to Black Tuesday and it's interesting to try it still. It would be interesting to do a side by side of how this is still vs carbonated.

Ouch.
Superbly disappointing.
Not really sure if there is supposed to be any carbonation, but there is none.
To me, that was it. Nice color, but no carbonation. Smell not all that good either.
Taste is more like a wannabe liqueur, which is not at all what I want when spending this kind of money on a beer.
DO NOT BUY
So, silly me, after reaching out to The Bruery, the "Still" in the name was supposed to let me know that there was not supposed to be carbonation. Well, the beer STILL is overpriced and not that great. Stick to the other, awesome Black Tuesdays.

2021 vintage. 3 years in French Puncheons.
Look: Pretty much Black Tuesday with no carbonation. No highlights to speak of.
Smell: the huge roasty BT is there but muted. Strong oak.
Taste: like the nose, with mild red wine notes.
