This version of Black Tuesday spent 18 months developing in Oloroso Sherry barrels. The barrel shines through as aromas of dried fruit fill the room as you pour. The palate isn't far off as you pick up familiar Black Tuesday notes of roast and dark chocolate interlaced with a medley of tobacco, spice, and cherry notes.

Black color. Thin, beige head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, and dried fruits from sherry barrels are in the aroma. Rich, warming taste with well-hidden alcohol.

Another BT variant – can there ever be enough (live space)? In a 12.7 oz. bottle.
Dark. Nose brings malts, booze, sherry. Strong sherry.
Black Tuesday – Sherry Barrel Aged feels gentler than the typical BT bruising…like getting hit by a 200 lb. linebacker vs. a 247 lber. May be due to the ascendancy of the sherry barrel, which is wickedly strong, even overshadowing the copious amounts of alcohol. Like the other variants there’s black sugar cane, mild cocoa, finishing with the Heat. Finishing this bottle solo might become a bit of a chore, something I haven’t said about other variants. I think.
A very good beer but doesn’t stand high in the pantheon of 362 BTs. Excuse me now, I have another three or more hours of drinking to do.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2021 vintage, bottled on 03/11/21. Served in a Black Tuesday chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention is decent, and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark fruit, sherry, roasted malt, molasses and dark chocolate. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some oak, burnt/charred malt, dark bread and earthy flavors. I think the dark fruit/sherry flavor stands out to me. Has a kick to it, but doesn't seem like it's 20.6% ABV. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and a bit syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance, I liked this one a lot!
