16 ounce can, packaged 05/18/21. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coconut, salt, peanuts, graham crackers, vanilla, roasted malt and a bit of bourbon. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some marshmallow, burnt/charred malt and oaky flavors noticeable too. Barrel character isn't strong in this one. I think the peanutty/salty flavors stand out compared to the others, it's not as sweet tasting as I was expecting. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall imperial stout, but recommend it more to those who like saltier/peanutty brews.

is that real coconut or liquid taster??? for 10+% this is a decent brew.... nothing spectacular.... none of them are anymore. But every once in a while it's fun to place an order and see what they've got cookin'.... but they really do seem to have lost their 'edge' in every corner....
