Copenhagen 13/9 2022. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Brightly colored can with a crude drawing of a forest landscape.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer.Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, quite fruity and slightly tropical odor mingling with a strong lemonade-ish, citric scent. Sweet peach and oranges. Coriander and anise.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Without being fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and tad watery. Lingers for bit. Finish issei-dry and pleasant.
More than decent Wit.

For the most part I'll echo the positive reviews of this being a very good example of the style. All the components are there; wheat, coriander, citrus. By the power of suggestion (kudos to reviewer LiquidAmber) I picked up some subtle fennel, which is very complementary to the aroma.
There's one unfortunate aspect about it that affected the appearance and feel. Maybe it was a slightly off run, or shame on me for trusting a year+ old medium ABV beer.
The yeast cake is super-sized and the beer is way over-carbonated. The only way I could get a decent pour was to open the can, tap the bottom against the sink, let it rest (lather, rinse, repeat) and then pour slowly into a wetted glass. Otherwise, I'd lose about a quarter of the beer to foam.
Color is an attractive gold with a slight haze unless the can is upended, then it's a murky tan from the excessive yeast cake. I rated the color on pourus-interruptus, stopping before getting yeast in the glass.
Aroma and taste were great. Feel, not so much....too much carbonation got in the way of this beer being what it could have been.

Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy medium golden amber and a half finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, coriander, orange citrus and a touch of anise (fennel). Flavor is wheat, coriander, orange and orange rind and fennel with coriander and orange citrus in the finish. Medium bodied with sharp carbonation but still has light to moderate creaminess on the tongue. Solid wheat flavors and classic coriander and citrus, in this case more orange than lemon. The fennel is light in the background, but adds a nice touch. Nice looking, refreshing and a great orange and fennel take on a classic witbier. Enjoyable and a witbier I will look for again.

Appearance - Pours a slightly hazy apricot gold with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - Biscuity malts, orange/lemon peel, coriander, cracked black pepper, spicy yeast, leafy hops, hint of fennel.
Taste - Citrus fruit and biscuity wheat malts, followed by the flavours of spices (coriander, pepper, fennel) and spicy yeast. Hops leave a gentle bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with high carbonation. Very effervescent with a tingly, dry finish.
Overall - A very bubbly and fresh wit from The Bruery. It delivers on the promise of citrus and spices. A crisp ale for the summertime.

The Bruery "Just A Twist"
16 fl. oz. can "PKG 06/09/21" and sampled on 08/28/21
$5.29 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice label design as usual. It pours a hazy golden body beneath a full head of densely foamy white. The aroma smells like a Belgian witbier. Is this just a witbier or is there more to it? I get the woody/spicy coriander, the orange peel, and a little bit of the Belgian yeast. There's also some wheaty malt there. OK, good enough, on to the taste... well I'm not finding anything unusual or 'extra' about this so I'm assuming it's a straightforward Belgian style witbier, which is completely fine. There's a definite wheat component to the sweetish malt, and a bit more character from the yeast, but otherwise it's exactly as the aroma suggests it will be. It's subtly acidic, and combined with a moderate bitterness it finishes dry with a swirl of soft spiciness and a dollop of sweet malt that fades shortly. It's refreshing, and pretty much exactly what you'd expect of the style. Thankfully it's not overblown like Blue Moon. It's medium-light in body and gently crisp-then-smooth across the palate. The head has dropped to a thin but creamy surface covering at this point, but there's also a beautiful ring of solid lace around the glass that's about an inch tall at its shorter points. So what else to say about this? I don't know. It's just a very solid witbier that's different than some others but definitely in the same vein.
