We like to ask the important questions, like is a blondie a brownie? Would a blondie make a great beer? Well, no and yes, respectively. This ale was aged in bourbon barrels with coconut, cacao nibs, walnuts, vanilla, and Dulce de Leche for a decadent treat.

A: Poured into a snifter to a deep golden orange beer which is topped by a finger of white head that fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of vanilla, walnuts, coconut, and a touch of chocolate backstopped by a ton of sweetness along with some bourbon barrels.
T: Taste is coconut, walnuts, vanilla, oak, caramel and chocolate along with a decent amount of residual sugar. I'm not sure what the base beer is supposed to be doing here but it seems to be getting overrun by adjuncts. On the finish there's more vanilla, coconut, walnuts and oak with some lingering caramel sweetness.
M: This beer has a body which is on the heavier side of medium with a slightly creamy feel. Carbonation is light and barely adequate while the beer has a drying finish due to the ABV
O: Overall this was really nice and it definitely tastes like drinking a blondie. Good flavors and complexity, but definitely a very adjunct heavy beer.
