Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with blackberries, blueberries, and Tahitian vanilla beans
What’s better than one cobbler? Another cobbler cobbled right on top. For this double cobbler-inspired imperial stout, we created a unique mélange of four fan-favorite barrel-aged imperial stouts, then treated them with delicious blackberries and blueberries to combine the best of the berry cobbler flavors, along with Tahitian vanilla beans for a touch of sweetness. Best enjoyed while pondering what separates cobbler from pie.

Black color. Medium-sized, white head. Chocolate, berries, vanilla, and bourbon in the aroma. The same notes follow into the rich, malty taste. Warming finish.

From the 750 ml bottle in a snifter with a big thanks to Bluejacket74 for this fine brew! Cheers Dude!
This monster pours a murky brownish black with a nice head of brown foam that settles to
a thin ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing with some decent legs. Nose of
blackberry, blueberry, faint bourbon, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Flavors leap over the nose
with aplomb. Black and blue berries dance about dark chocolate, dark coffee, and sweet vanilla
that are doused in mellow bourbon featuring light oak and moderate char notes. With warmth
some brulee notes arise. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, lightly warming, light
carbonation, and a balanced sweet but not cloying finish that is perfect.
Overall, another stunner from a stunning brewery!
Cheers

Pours near black, 3/4" tan head, quickly fades to a thin collar; no lacing. Nose is uncannily similar to cherry insides of chocolate jelly candies; a bit of vanilla as well. Taste is quite sweet - very fake-fruit-inside-confection-insides (I'd say raspberry, but really "red fruit" is probably more accurate). Light vanilla on the back end. Very little barrel notes, just mostly overwhelming sweetness. Mouthfeel is exceptionally thick and chewy with a tiny hint of carbonation. I found very little depth or nuance here personally, and that the other additions (vanilla, barrel) were entirely overwhelmed. That said, if you like super sweet and jammy stouts, you'll probably enjoy this!

Bottle pour- dark as a moonless night with quickly dissipating khaki head leaving scant lacing. Nose is sweet with berries and vanilla with hints of roasty malt and barrel wood. Taste follows with a lingering sweetness and a bit of alcohol creep on the finish.

Poured from a 750ml at fridge temp. Pours pitch black with an inch of light brown head. The nose is really nice. As described - vanilla and blueberries all the way. Some chocolate, bourbon, some roasted malts also come through.
The taste is fantastic. The fruit comes through as real fruit - not syrup or some concentrated crap. This is fresh blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, cherries, wood, and a touch of walnuts. Really nice.
Mouthfeel is fairly thick and creamy. Aftertaste is sweet, and the ABV is nicely hidden.

750 ml bottle, 2022 vintage, bottled on 02/28/22. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice and fruity, the brew smells like blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, roasted malt and some coffee. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some bourbon, oak and burnt/charred malt flavors. I think the dark fruitiness stands out here but doesn't overpower the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's a bit creamy and slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Doesn't seem like it's 15.5% ABV. I thought this was a pretty good brew, definitely recommended if you're into dark fruity forward tasting imperial stouts!

Look: deep dark imp stout, no highlights to speak of. Big mocha head on the pour that mostly recedes. Messy lacing.
Smell: all the adjuncts are represented well. Blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, bourbon nestled nicely in that top notch Bruery imp stout.
Taste: like the nose. All those flavors, velvety smooth and creamy.
