On-tap at the Bruery
A: The pour is a rich amber color with a finger's worth of off-white head.
S: The nose is primarily overly toasted malts with a hint of caramel, spice, alcohol, and nuts? Sort of weird, and not all that much yeast character.
T: The flavor is very intense, but not necessarily in a good way. Lots of toasted, nearly burned, malt and a very bitter flavor. A very earthy character and slightly bready and spiced.
M: The body is medium with a pretty light carbonation which does not do the beer any favors.
D: Neither iteration of this beer has been all that good. I enjoy the desire to be innovative, but it hasn't worked out this time.

On-tap at The Bruery,
A: Pours a dark red with a light half finger of off-white head, solid retention.
S: Lots of caramel, some red apple peel, light funk from the Brett, a good nose.
T: A big malt component though the beer is not sugary at all. Caramel to crystal malt, nuts, red apples are big here, again mild funk, the Brett is there, but on a blind taste you'd never know this was a Brett beer.
M: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation, big flavours.
D: A solid red, this is better for sure than the regular Filthy Redhead, love the Brett.
