I have reviewed several Bruery beers, yet I have over 100 left to review. I am a huge fan of peaches. Last year, they released a beer called No Oven Required; I am hoping this beer is like that one. I am using a tulip glass and serving the beer at 50 degrees. After prying the cap off, a lovely hiss emitted, followed by ripe caramelized peaches. The pour created a frothy, airy, half-fingered head with terrible retention. Head retention is something The Bruery is known for, including its high-ABV beers. The poor head retention left no lacing on the glass or any resemblance to it on the liquid. The beer is nearly black, with dark reddish ebony hues, charting at SRM 36, and opaque. The beer's appearance is average for this style, but I still would have liked to see something for a head.
Nosing the glass, the first whiff, I smell caramelized peaches ( I mentioned that earlier), cinnamon, crackers, dark roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Smelling the glass again, I notice molasses, char, bourbon, orange peel, light coffee, tobacco, and earthiness. The malt profile is extensive but not overbearing, adding sweetness.
After sipping the beer, I was immediately transported to a world of rich flavors. It's like a bourbon imperial stout steeped in the essence of caramelized peach cobbler. The taste is a delightful medley of fresh, tart, juicy peaches, robust bourbon, sweet caramel, woody oak, a hint of smoke, velvety vanilla, earthy undertones, molasses, cinnamon, dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, crackers, and a subtle note of leather. The unique combination of these flavors is sure to intrigue any beer enthusiast.
The mouthfeel is chewy and coated, finishing warm. The body is heavy and has low carbonation.
Final Thoughts: Peaches en Ruegalia is similar to No Oven Required, but this seems to be more barrel-forward and has a bigger malt profile. I enjoyed this beer, but I am sad to know that this is the only bottle I have.

Black color, thin beige head. Chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, and peaches in the aroma. Well-balanced, rich taste. Moderately sweet with a warming finish. Well-hidden alcohol.

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter thanks to Bluejacket74!
The masters of blending have done it again with a mix I would not
consider to be viable....IT IS! This fine brew pours a dark brownish black with
a faint head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring. Nose of graham, peach, vanilla,
astringent booze, oak, bourbon, and cinnamon. Flavors follow the nose perfectly
with astringent booze, bourbon, oak, brown sugars, vanilla, rich graham, spicy
cinnamon, brown sugar, stewed peaches and dark breaded malts. Mouth feel
is full, smooth, rich, coating, warming, faint carbonation, and a fantastically
balanced dry finish.
Said before, will say again. Masters of blending flavors. Masters of sweet
brews that are balanced and that while on the sweet side are not cloying.
Overall, another winner in the Black Tuesday variants!
Cheers!

12.7 ounce bottle, 2022 limited edition, bottled 09/01/22. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that fizzled away somewhat quickly. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like cinnamon, roasted malt, graham crackers, vanilla, peaches and dark chocolate. I think the taste is close to the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt, oak, dark bread and bourbon flavors. All the flavors seem pretty balanced here but I wish the peach flavor was stronger. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. Even though I wish it was peachier tasting, it was still pretty good to me. Certainly worth trying if you're able to!

I don’t have a lot to say on this one, except that it’s another great addition to the BT variant family. Perfectly balanced with each component standing its ground, while being just sweet enough without being cloying. And the fact that it’s (ONLY haha) 15% is a nice change of pace from the 18%-plus.
These variants have become a welcome holiday tradition!
