Black Tuesday meets spumoni: a love story. This magnificent bourbon barrel-aged small-batch release was treated with Balaton cherries, pistachios, and Madagascar vanilla beans for a decadent spin on the classic Italian dessert. With just the right amount of depth and just a touch of sweetness, Tre Fette is sure to brighten up your martedì. Just one more reason to love Tuesdays. Enjoy with a candlelit dinner of braised shortribs and goat cheese, with caramel sea salt ice cream for dessert.

Drinking another Bruery Beer, I still have several left in the cellar. I am using a tulip glass, and the serving temperature is 50 degrees. Prying the cap, a lovely hiss came out. The hard pour created nothing, no head. The color is dark brown, nearly black, with an SRM of 32, and opaque. The appearance is not showing much. The beer does have a high ABV, but I did expect something, considering this is from The Bruery.
Nosing the glass, I detect notes of bourbon, cherries, oak, char, vanilla, dark chocolate, light coffee, caramel, toffee, molasses, raisins, and earthiness. Sipping the beer again, I notice leather, nuttiness, dark roasted malts, malty sweetness, and a bready finish.
Sipping the beer, I noticed the warming with bourbon, char, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, light coffee, toffee, molasses, raisins, and earthiness. After a few more sips, I taste nuts, toasted bread crust, leather, malty sweetness, and a light Maillard note.
The mouthfeel is chewy yet finishes with a warm finish. The body is heavy and has light carbonation.
Final Thought: The beer is well made, and the barrel aging adds depth. The adjuncts in the beer are good, but they lack profundity and are unable to stand out against the big stout. It is a tasty beer but nothing special.

Another good brew from the Bruery. Almost black in color. One-finger thick, beige head. Dark chocolate, vanilla, cherry, and bourbon in the aroma. The same notes follow into a rich, malty taste.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This monster pours a slick brownish black with a quickly fizzling head of
khaki foam that settles to a razor thin ring with some nice legs with a swirl.
Nose of rich pistachio, dark sweet cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla, and boozy
bourbon. Flavors nail it out of the park with pistachio, dark sweet cherry,
dark sweet chocolate, dark brown sugars, bourbon, oak, vanilla, and subtle
cream touched by deep roast and a touch of char. Mouth feel is full, smooth,
rich, coating, warming, light carbonation, and finishing with a well placed
sweet bitter malt finish that is moderately dry that is far from cloying.
Overall, another piece of brewing perfection from the masters of combining
flavor profiles. Simply astounding!
Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle, 2022 limited edition, bottled 09/07/22. Served in a Black Tuesday chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around for a little bit. Not much lacing at all. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like vanilla, pistachios, cherries, caramel and roasted malt. Taste is close to the aroma but there's also some oak, bourbon and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. Sweeter tasting in general but not overpoweringly sweet, and I think the vanilla, pistachio and cherry flavors stand out to me. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. 19.7% ABV is well hidden here. Guess this was a Spumoni variant, can't say I eat much Spumoni at all but this is a pretty tasty brew. Definitely recommend this one, especially if you're into dessert like beers!
