Wake up and smell the coffee…beer! We’re bringing new meaning to breakfast treats with this diner-worthy combo. We added Applewood smoked bacon and coffee to our barleywine base, created in collaboration with our friends at 3 Chiefs, along with a touch of vanilla to sweeten things up. Pair with the morning paper and a nice, slow start to your day.

750 ml bottle, 2022 edition, bottled 10/20/22. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like brown sugar, vanilla, coffee, caramel and some smoky bacon. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some bready malt and earthiness. All the flavors mesh well together with no one flavor overpowering the others. With that being said, this does lean sweeter tasting in general. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good brew, still drinking good now but wonder how it would have been when fresher. Definitely worth a try if you get the chance!
