Tequila barrel-aged Wheat-Wine ale with Agave Syrup, Limes, Peppermint, Orange Peel, and Sea Salt
We give you the Mojitarita: a tequila barrel-aged wheat-wine ale created in collaboration with our friends at Firestone Walker Brewing Co. Taking the agave and mint from a mojito and the limes and salt from a margarita, we put it all together in the same agave-fed base as Agave Amigos for this party-ready treat. Fermented on agave syrup and treated with limes, mint, and sea salt, this is sure to be your new top-shelf pick.

750 ml bottle, 2022 edition, bottled 11/18/22. Served in a Bruery Hoarders Society chalice, the beer pours a mostly clear amber/copper color with about a half inch off-white head that fizzled away somewhat quickly. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like limes, orange peel, peppermint, tequila, salt and some agave. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but with the addition of some bready/wheaty flavors, although it does taste more like a cocktail than it does a beer. I think the lime, peppermint, tequila and salty flavors stand out without overpowering the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this one was pretty good, definitely worth trying especially if you like tequila barrel aged brews!

Look: mostly clear golden, sparse off white head.
Smell: prominent lime, orange peel, peppermint.
Taste: agave syrup up front in the taste, notes in the nose after, hint of bitter and sea salt in the finish.
