Bourbon barrel-aged Belgian-style Quadrupel ale | 15.2% ABV
One thing I can tell you is you got to… try this Belgian-style quad, because man oh man it’s gooood. We blended two of our favorite bourbon barrel-aged quadrupel ales to taste, crafting the perfect rich, malty flavor you’d expect of a quad. Tradition meets innovation— we just do as we please!

Look: very dark, almost no highlights went held to light. Big tan head on the pour.
Smell: nose has a lot going on, bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, pepper.
Taste: like the nose, malty too.

750 ml bottle, 2023 edition, bottled 01/24/23. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a murky dark brown color with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around a while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit, raisins, bourbon, vanilla, caramel and some allspice. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak, clove and dark bready flavors. Good amount of barrel character in both the aroma and taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and coating with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought this a good brew, certainly worth trying if you get the chance!
