Belgian Table Beer with Rose Hips

Ladies up in here tonight… making this beer! We originally crafted this Belgian table beer with the women of Orange County Pink Boots for an event-exclusive pilot batch, but it was too good to keep to ourselves. The addition of rose hips brings a delicate, floral flavor to perfectly accent the rich, slightly spiced notes of our traditionally-inspired Belgian table beer.

Crystal clear pale straw with one finger white head. Nose is classic Belgian pale, yeast, pepper, pale malt, some fruity esters. Taste follows the nose with a bright yeastiness followed by a thin pale malt, that ends with a slight carbonic and floral bite. Body is light to medium with similar carbonation, not thin at all. Ends with a sharp carbonation snap with a lingering dry floral note. Overall a wonderful Belgian table beer. Rose hips are probably adding to the floral notes, but not forward at all. Appreciate the low ABV. Another good one from the Bruery
