After being dared to create a Thai iced tea-inspired beer using a brown ale, our Bruers worked hard to craft Enthaiced: a rich imperial brown ale treated with chai tea, dulce de leche, and flavors of vanilla for the perfect slightly-sweet, slightly-spiced flavor. We call this challenge a sweet success, wouldn’t you agree?

Brown color. Big, off-white head. Vanilla and chai spices dominate the aroma. Malty, spicy, and moderately sweet taste. Not a big fan of chai. Still drinkable.

Enhanced pours a very dark brown, almost black color, with a small but long-lasting head. The aroma has notes of vanilla and caramel. The flavor is creamy chai tea, then a hint of caramel and vanilla, and then the tea returns. Good body and feel. The funky beer and chai tea don't fit perfectly, but they are still fun.

750 ml bottle, 2023 edition, bottled 09/07/23. Served in a Bruery tulip, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch or so frothy tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like chai spices, vanilla, cream and caramel. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some earthy/tea and chocolate flavors. I think the chai and earthiness stands out here but without overpowering the other flavors. Not as sweet tasting as I was expecting either. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and coating with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew overall, worth a try if you get the chance!
