Single Malt Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.
Step into the Malt Mill and experience distiller-and-Bruer collaboration on a whole new level. Alongside our good friends at Westward Whiskey outof Portland, Oregon, we aged Black Tuesday in Westward Whiskey's Original Whiskey barrels, resulting in a complex beer beautifully showcasing Westward's barrel character. Aromas of dried fig, cherry, and crème brulée rise to greet you ahead of notes of chocolate lava cake, dried cherry, and waffle cone.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This beast pours a muddled blackish brown with a moderate head of
tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin and sparse dusty layer, and sports
faint lacing but rocks some nice legs. Nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, char, brulee,
dark berry notes of blackberry and raspberry, and dark cocoa. Flavors hit the
mark with dark cocoa, cherry, raspberry, blueberry, bourbon, oak, vanilla, brulee,
char, and hints of fig and date amongst astringent booze. Mouth feel is full, smooth,
rich, coating, warming, I can't feel my lips, light carbonation, and a warm bitter malt
and bourbon finish.
Overall, the good Brufolk know their onions, and this is no exception!
Awesome!
I can't feel my face.....
Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle, bottled 10/19/23. Served in a Bruery chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that didn't stay around too long. There's a small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like whiskey, dark fruit, vanilla, roasted malt and some dark chocolate. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of dark bread, oak, burnt/charred malt, coffee and some caramel flavors. Good amount of barrel character. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good overall brew, definitely worth picking up if you're into whiskey barrel aged stouts!
