On cask at the Bruery
A: The beer pours in intensely cloudy golden straw color with a frothy white head that dies away shortly.
S: A very strong hop character on the nose. There's a slight woody character to the hops, which are very piney. Decent fruitiness, particularly grapefruit with a hint of pineapple. Some grass and a mild maltiness.
T: The flavor is more hoppy than expected. Lots of pine and grapefruit (and citrus peel) notes. There is a definite grassy note and some notes of alcohol in the background. Some bread and other sweet malt flavors. A somewhat harsh bitterness on the back end.
M: Medium in body with a low to moderate carbonation.
O: This had some positive attributes, but there was just enough wrong with it to not be a great beer.
