12.7 ounce bottle, 2024 edition, bottled 01/26/24. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, rum, bananas, vanilla, brown sugar and some cinnamon. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some rye whiskey, oak and a bit of coconut flavor noticeable too. Definitely a sweeter tasting imperial stout, and all the flavors are well balanced with no one flavor overpowering the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit rich with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter with a BIG thanks to Bluejacket74! Cheers and Happy new Year!
This monster pours a rich and muddled brownish black with a modest head of khaki
foam that settles to a thin ring with nice legs. Nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate,
banana, brown sugars (rum), and subtle cinnamon. Flavors expand on the nose nicely
with banana, oak, bourbon, spicy rye, vanilla, rum, cinnamon, dark chocolate, subtle coffee,
and dark fruits of blackberry and raspberry. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating,
lightly warming and hiding the booze well, and finishing sweet yet nicely balanced
which says something for such a big brew.
Overall, stellar for the ingredient list with more balance than you can shake a stick at!
Cheers
