Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with coconuts, blueberries, granola, raisins, and honey
Breakfast for dinner never sounded so good. Blueberry Brueonico is an over-the-top imperial stout inspired by the classic Mexican breakfast treat.
You’ll get a sweet vanilla aroma and accents of coconut, blueberry, granola, raisin, and honey. It blends complex bourbon barrel flavors with decadent fruit character. Savor its opulent mouthfeel, from its bourbon-kissed beginnings through a delightfully sweet and tangy finish. !Delicioso¡

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter. Thanks to Bluejacket74 for this fine beverage!
This beast pours a pitch black with a razor thin ring and some decent legs with a swirl.
Nose of blueberries, cinnamon, vanilla, rich bourbon, and toasted coconut.
Flavors surpass the nose with blueberry preserves dancing about waves of bourbon,
cinnamon, vanilla, coconut, cream, moderate char, deep roast, brulee, coffee, and
spicy astringent booze notes. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating,
warming, light carbonation, and a bitter malt warm finish.
Overall, a mighty beast worthy of a fine finisher to a big evening.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2024 edition, bottled 06/07/24. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like blueberries, vanilla, granola, coconuts, roasted malt, bourbon and some honey. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some raisins, oak, burnt/charred malt and dark bready flavors. It's a sweeter tasting brew but not close to being overpowering at all. The flavors are well balanced with no one flavor dominating the others. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. It still has some boozy heat so aging it wouldn't be a bad idea, but it's not as boozy as I was expecting. I thought this was pretty good, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!
