Add the Drizzle pours black with a very large, long-lasting, brown bubbly head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and lots of salt. The flavor has notes of chocolate and lots and lots of salt. It has a good ,thick feel. Overall, it is a nice chocolate stout that is ruined by an overall salt flavor. Very odd.

one of the best of this parlor series so far, amazing complexity and pungency of flavor, and seriously it tastes like actual dulce de leche, so impressive, and the salt does a lot, i think they could have all been salted, love what it does in this. the cocoa powder is also robust in this, almost that dutch style where its real fine and dark and bitter but still rich, nice how sweet it is with the obvious caramel character, and while this is sweet and desserty overall, its supposed to be, its an ice cream series, so i cant be too critical of that aspect. the vanilla isnt overdone here and keeps the theme central, the salt dries it, adds minerality, and makes the dulce de leche part just positively pop. the nose is more subtle than flavor, so that element really hits right away on the first sip, surprisingly intense but so true to the real thing, which is what i love about this one. the salt leaves the palate wanting more. its full bodied of course but not overly viscous, its strong but not outright alcoholic to drink on, and there is a silky smoothness to the whole thing. hints of espresso, buttered rum, praline, and good english toffee. a little less dark and pretty than some of the others, less bubbles too, but this is overwhelmingly successful on the whole. sugary but the aftertaste is great and there still is some balancing bitterness from the base stout. impressive specimen. perhaps the one of these i was least excited about, but its arguably been my favorite thus far, one of a kind for sure!

Sampled at the taphouse, sounds fantastic...dark stout appearance, minimal head...uh oh...sickly sweet nose, not my favorite...having a tough time with it...overly sweet palate...maybe curdled milk as well...sugary cocoa, vanilla...had super-high expectations for this one, it didn't deliver anything except the diabeetus...
