This is a blend component used in their sours, and until now has never been available by itself. Look for multiple variations (using different fruits) over the next year or so. Tap only, small batches.

On tap at the new tasting room.
A: Pours a reddish brown, almost black with a tan head which fades to the rim leaving a few spots of lace.
N: Dried dark fruit and skin (raisins), sweet and tart.
M: Tannic, dried fruit (dates, prune, raisin), some mild funk, acetic vinegar.
M: Medium body and carbonation. Good combination of sweet and tart.
O: The variant most favored in a side-by-side comparison. Still would probably choose something else though.

On tap at The Bruery in Placentia, CA.
Pours a clear super dark brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with some raisin and other dark fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with a slight dark fruit aftertaste. There is an acidic quality on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and prickly mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer and I think the raisins do very well in the base beer here.

Draft to Tulip
@The Bruery for Sunday Sour day
App- A medium looking cola brown with some gold highlights. A bit thin looking with zero head or cling.
Smell- A soft tart with a malt forward nose and a lot of dark fruits. A little bit alcohol-esque and not ABV.
Taste- A whole ton of raisin. Just seems off to me. It's pretty average for a Bruery sour. Not balanced enough with the raisin overshadowing the rest of the flavors. A bit medicinal as well.
Mouth- Medium bodied and medium carbonated. Prickly raisin finish.
Drink- Not the best work of the Bruery I think. Could be more balanced with a bit less of the raisin and more full drink.

On-tap at The Bruery,
A: Pours brown with a minimal head at best, no retention or lace. Looks like old Pepsi.
S: Acetic character, dark malt, raisins.
T: Nice overall malty flavour with a lot of acetic character which I enjoy, Oud Bruin like. Notes of molasses, raisins, cola and a heavy acidity.
M: Medium-bodied and medium acid, crisp carbonation, a tad too tart at the finish.
O: An enjoyable effort, I didn't seem to get the big organic solvent flavour as my colleagues did.

A: The beer pours dark brown in color with a minimal tan head sitting on top.
S: A very strong aroma of vinegar. There's quite a bit of cola with a hint of raisins, plums, and cherries. Light dark chocolate, leather, and oak with some mild acetone and butter.
T: As with the aroma, there is a big time acetic character. There is also a strong acidic quality to it as well as some of the same chocolate, leather, and oak notes. A lot of red wine and balsamic vinegars. Acetone on the finish which ruins this.
M: Medium bodied with a low to medium carbonation.
O: Really underwhelming sour beer, especially with that acetone character.

Enjoyed (or not enjoyed) at Clusterfork #7 in a snifter.
A: Murky swamp brown with no head.
S: Pronounced lactic quality with cherry and raisin. Plum and grape are light. Chocolate is faint and there's evident acetone.
T: Flavor has a lot of caramel with raisin and a moderate lactic sourness. There's little acetone midpalate that waxes toward the finish. The acetic acidity is high and pretty rough. The finish burns.
M: Medium body with low carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel.
Overall: The acetone and acetic acidity made this unenjoyable for me.
