From the 12.4 oz bottle in a snifter, vintage 2024 with a HUGE thanks to Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid offering pours a coal black with a decent head of khaki foam that settles to a thick
ring, subtle dusty layer, and sports some decent legs. Nose of subtle mellow bourbon, vanilla,
cream, dark chocolate, moderate graham, moderate cinnamon, and brown sugars. Flavors
unfold nicely with mellow balanced graham, moderate cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, cream,
brulee, dark fruits, dark chocolate, moderate char, and dark coffee. Mouth feel is full, smooth,
rich, warming, coating, moderately slick, and finishing with a nice bitter malt note that is subtly
dry and well balanced.
Overall, I am always cautious on graham and cinnamon, but this one blended well
and judging from the other reviews favored time spent at rest. Very nicely balanced
from flavors I question, but in the hands of the Good Bru Folk miracles can happen!
Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle, 2024 edition, bottled 11/15/24. Served in a Bruery tulip, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like cacao nibs, marshmallows, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and some bourbon. For the most part I think the taste is like the aroma, but there's also some roasted malt, dark bread and molasses flavors noticeable too. It's a sweeter tasting stout but not close to being overpoweringly sweet. I think the cacao flavor is the strongest here, but doesn't dominate the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink too for being 13.1% ABV. If you like imperial stouts in general then you should try this one too especially if you like graham crackers and vanilla!

357ml bottle pours dark brown, sits opaque and black in the glass with a half-finger ring of khaki head. Sweetness abounds, but enjoyably so, slightly cloying but manageable... sticky vanilla and candy-bar chocolate, marshmallow creaminess and a minor touch of cinnamon spice, brought together by a unifying and consistent bourbon heat. Pretty good all around, still a good one to share even in the smaller bottle format.

Dark chocolate and roast, spice cookies, minimal marshmallow-vanilla, and a subdued bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a slightly thin, vanilla bitter, hint of graham cracker, and faint barrel finish. This definitely needed more pop from the additions here...almost felt like not enough was used for this one. It would have helped if there was a heavier, more viscous mouthfeel. Just okay on this one...

Poured at fridge temp. Pours black, but not overly thick. The nose is not what I was expecting. Very red wine/fruit forward. Has me a bit worried.
The taste is also odd. Tasted like it could be on the verge of infection. Some bourbon, sweet dessert wine, and even slight sourness. Not very good.
