Imperial Stout with Mint, Cacao Nibs, and Vanilla
It’s like your favorite cookie or green ice cream, but all grown up. This imperial stout brings together dark chocolate, fresh mint, and vanilla flavor in a perfectly sophisticated twist on a classic. At 10.5% ABV, it's definitely not for the scouts – but it might have you earning a badge in indulgence.

16 ounce can, dating on the bottom is smudged but it looks like it says something /07/25 on the bottom. Don't know if it was the canning or best by date but pretty sure this is still good at this point. Served in a chalice the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so frothy tan head that stuck around for a while. Lots of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, it smells like a Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookie with lots of dark chocolate, peppermint, roasted malt, and some caramel. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some vanilla and dark bready flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I don't think this was close to being the best Thin Mints brew I've tried, but it was enjoyable enough and easy to drink. Worth trying if you like Thin Mint cookies or mint chocolate stouts in general!

ON-tap at the Bruery; black pour, opaque, with a thin ring of khaki lacing. The nose has lots of dark chocolate and cocoa with a roasty backbone, the palate is roasty and dry with subdued mint, which I'm OK with - sometimes mint can be overwhelming and lean heavily into the toothpaste category...this one is good as-is, just a bit dry and roasty.
