375mL into a tulip. Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a minimal head. Pretty much identical to Meubles.
Aroma, also similar to Meubles, starts off with subtle tart, vinous notes countered by a fruity sweetness. Ripe bing cherries, leather, oak, vanilla, caramel, toffee. Inviting.
Taste falls decidedly on the sweeter side of the spectrum—dark stone fruits, caramel malt, vanilla, and warm oaky booze. Still just a hint of that vinous, semi-sour character, but it’s fleeting, ephemeral.
Mouthfeel is medium-heavy but balanced. Conceals the ABV well.
Overall an excellent beer and, yes, I’d say it’s just a notch more refined and elegant than regular Meubles.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter 2025 edition via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This monster pours a muddled burnt auburn with a nice head of khaki foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some decent lacing and some
nice legs. Nose of bourbon, vinous wine, cognac, oak, vanilla, leather, subtle
tobacco, brown sugars, raisins, and plumbs. Flavors surpass the nose on some
parts with rich oak, vanilla, bourbon, brown sugars, cognac, dark vinous wine,
plumbs, raisin bread, leather, tobacco, figs, dates, and toffee. Mouth feel is medium,
light carbonation, smooth, rich as the day is long, warming, and finishing medium
dry leaning towards dry.
Overall, a stellar sipper worthy of an evening by the fire from the master blenders
of flavors.
Exceptional!
Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 04/21/25. I just drank the regular Meubles, so let's see how the Blender's Choice version compares. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a mahogany brown color with not quite an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like red grapes/wine, toffee, oak, plums, raisins, cognac, vanilla and some earthiness. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some honey and a bit of boozy flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit syrupy with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good overall brew. It's a little boozy but doesn't seem as much compared to the regular version. Still think some aging wouldn't hurt this one though, but it's certainly worth picking up!
