12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 03/21/25. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that fizzled away somewhat quickly. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, dark bread and dark fruity flavors. Lots of barrel character here! Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of soft carbonation. It's boozy and you can tell you're drinking a strong beer. I liked this one a lot, but then I also like bourbon too so if you like a lot of barrel in your barrel aged brews then you should like this one!

On tap at the Bruery
A- dark brown with a one finger off white head, short retention
S- smells like straight Eagle Rare; barrel juice, oak, caramel, vanilla and coconut. Undertones of chocolate, but mostly pure Eagle Rare
T- pure Eagle rare up front, smooth bourbon, oak, caramel, toffee. Undertone of chocolate, a fantastic showcase of the barrel
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and warming finish
