On cask at The Bruery

Pours a murky dark brown color with a soapy off-white head from the hand pump. Cough syrup aroma to go along with an intense woodiness and maybe some chocolate. The flavor is also intensely woody with a medicinal cherry flavor and a light tartness.

On cask at The Bruery itself,

A: Pours a Bing cherry super dark red to black with a light tan head, nice retention, limited lace.

S: Cherry heavy with a hint of pumpkin and spice, but fairly one dimensional.

T: Chocolate and black cherry soda. Sweeter than the regular with the cherries taking over which is okay, I just wish they had integrated a little better.

M: Medium-bodied, light carbonation, smooth.

O: I entered this as a fruit beer instead of a milk stout, because that's what I got. A fruit forward beer which is fine, but I prefer the regular.
