Aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, it unfolds with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and dark chocolate. Notes of brown sugar, toasted oak, and dried plums mingle on the palate, culminating in a long, sweet finish. A full-bodied experience, best enjoyed one sip at a time.

Whoa, I’m first to review another beer, and it’s not even a local one. Weird!
375mL bottle (2025 vintage) into a tulip. Pours a dark brownish black with a 1-finger mocha head that leaves behind a nice wispy tan film and collar.
Aroma is bitter and roasty with notes of caramel and roasted hazelnuts. Bitter dark chocolate, vanilla, booze.
Taste leads off sharply bitter, assertive, like a fresh cup of strong black coffee. I like. Next is dry cocoa and a fleeting sweetness.
Mouthfeel is probably more medium bodied than heavy. Finishes pretty clean because of the bitterness. Drinkable.
Overall this is solid, straightforward stuff.
