12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 06/23/25. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with an inch and a half tan head that stayed around for a while. OK amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark chocolate, marshmallows, roasted malt, vanilla and some nuttiness. The taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some anise and dark bready flavors noticeable too. Kinda reminds me of a dark chocolate brownie when drinking this. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink too. Thought this was good, worth a try if you come across some!

I enjoyed the last beer I had from The Bruery, so I decided to have another. I have drunk several bakery beers from The Bruery and have enjoyed several of them. I am using a tulip glass and serving the beer at 54 degrees. The pour created a frothy, foamy, two-fingered dark tan head with above-average retention. The somewhat slow dissipation left bits of lacing on the glass. The beer's overall appearance is above average for this style.
Nosing the glass, I notice medium-roasted coffee, baker's chocolate, marshmallows, nuttiness, vanilla, anise, dark toasted bread, malty sweetness, char, earthiness, molasses, caramel, figs, and raisins.
The beer's aromas percolate dry dark chocolate, sweet malt, and nutiness. Sipping the beer, I taste molasses, marshmallows, caramel, earthiness, vanilla, anise, dark toasted bread, char, and light roasted malt notes.
The mouthfeel is chewy, with a heavy finish. The heavy body and medium-low plus carbonation accentuate the beer's depth.
Final Impression: Another fantastic Bakery, it tastes like a rocky road brownie soaked in a decadent imperial stout. I enjoyed sipping on this beer after a busy day at work. Glad I was able to enjoy it.

Bakery: Rocky Road Brownie pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a small, massively lacing, long-lasting, tan head—the aroma is lots of chocolate, brownie, hints of marshmallow. The flavor is sweet, with walnut notes, but lots of very rich chocolate brownie. Good feel. Overall, it's a lovely brownie stout, full of flavor and delicious.

Appearance: Deep, dark brown pour crowned with a beige head that lingers nicely.
Aroma: Notes of milk chocolate, roasted nuts, and a touch of vanilla.
Taste: The flavor profile mirrors the aroma, with rich milk chocolate and nutty sweetness leading the way. Moderately sweet and well-balanced.
Mouthfeel: Soft and velvety on the palate, with a smooth finish.
