12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 07/09/25. Served in a Bruery Hoarders Society chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that fizzled away kinda quickly. Not much lacing at all. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like vanilla, graham crackers, cream, coconut, roasted malt, bourbon and some cacao nibs. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark bready, oak, caramel and burnt/charred malt flavors. I think the coconut seems stronger in the taste as compared to the aroma, and there's a decent amount of barrel character. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's rich and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I thought this one was pretty good, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

I decided to try something newer. I was going to age this, but thought, what the heck. I am serving it at 54 degrees in a Bruery stemless tulip glass; then the pour formed a creamy, half-fingered dark tan head with average retention. The beer's color is pitch black, with dark mahogany red hues, opaque, and charts at SRM 36. The somewhat quick dissipation left no lacing on the glass and no ring around the liquid. The beer's overall appearance is average for this style, especially given its high abv.
Smelling the glass, dark chocolate, graham cracker, light smoke, vanilla, medium-roasted coffee, earthy dirt, bourbon, oak, bread, and molasses. Nosing the glass again, I detect light char, caramel, toffee, earthiness, floral esters, a light alcohol note, and coconut. The beer is vibrant with caramel, coconut, bourbon, and chocolate.
The first sip unveiled the beer's complex flavors: notes of dark chocolate, graham crackers, vanilla, oak, molasses, toasted bread crust, bourbon, and leather. A few sips later, I taste a heavy caramel sweetness, coconut, light char, earthiness, coffee, toffee, and a light raisin.
The mouthfeel is dense and chewy, with a heavy, warm finish. The medium-low carbonation showcases the barrel aging, attracting you to keep consuming.
Final Impression: The beer reminds me of a candy bar with coconut and caramel, covered in chocolate, then dipped in bourbon. The beer is a touch too sweet for me, but delicious nonetheless. If I aged this, what would the differences be? I do not have another one to try this experiment.

Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with a thin layer of brown head that fizzles out surprisingly quickly. The nose is crème brûlée, chocolate and vanilla. Also getting a nice layer of almonds. Caramel candy comes through as well.
The taste is bourbon, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut, graham cracker, and fudge. Milk chocolate, maple candy, and caramel make appearances as it warms a bit.
The mouthfeel is super smooth and creamy. Great stuff.
