Two brewing powerhouses unite in The Pact. This blended barrel-aged imperial stout combines Henna Stout from More Brewing Company with our Monster Stout. Aged in Sagamore Double Oak Rye barrels and Henry McKenna 11-year Bourbon barrels, it's rich with notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and umami spice.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 09/19/25. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around for a little while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, rye bread, toffee, bourbon and some oak. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt, caramel and earthy flavors. Good amount of barrel character, too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and has a moderate amount of soft carbonation. Overall I liked this one, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

Pitch‑black color with a medium‑sized beige head. The aroma layers dark chocolate, roasted malt, rye spiciness, and a clear whiskey note. Those same elements carry into a rich, full‑bodied taste with a warming finish. The alcohol comes across a bit harsh, but overall, The Bruery delivers.
