Bourbon Barrel-Aged Golden Stout with Milk Sugar, Vanilla, Cacao Nibs, and Brown Sugar
The perfect companion for a flannel pajama night near the fire. This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Golden Stout features notes of vanilla, sweet cacao, and brown sugar. It’s a full-bodied beer with aromas of vanilla and malted milk balls.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 vintage, looks like it says bottled 12/22/25. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark golden/orange color with about an inch or so off-white head that stayed around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cacao nibs, chocolate and some bourbon. For the most part I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some caramel and malted milk balls flavors. It's tasty but wish the barrel was stronger here even though that's a minor complaint. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a little bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Have to say I liked this one a lot, I've had mixed experiences with golden stouts in the past but this one is good. Certainly worth trying if you're able to!
