Cask at the Bruery
Pours a murky golden color with a few small bubbles. The nose isn’t exactly what I was expecting. Lots of lemon (not sure where that’s coming from), iced tea, and sawdust. A bit of sweet bready malt and vanilla on the nose are the only indications that this is White Oak. The flavor is much the same, though a bit less citrusy and a bit heavier on the wood and sawdust notes. Moderate malt sweetness with some caramel, vanilla, and sugar notes. Not one of the better casks from the Bruery.
