On tap for the Bruery Initiation Celebration held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.
Pours a murky honey brown with a foamy beige head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, rum, wood, and a variety of spices. Taste is much the same with a slight sourness and an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells much better than it tastes in my opinion.
