Slightly hazed dark golden and orange. Moderately-sized off-white head. Fairly sticky; leaves lined lacing down the glass. Pretty pale ale.
This smells of freshly squeezed lime juice and sharp lime skin. The lime covers up most to all of the base beer's characteristics, as I don't get a hint of coconut here, perhaps just a bit of grain.
The flavor is incredibly lime-forward, almost drinks more like a tequila-free margharita or a terrible, artificially-flavored Budweiser product. The lime flavor is so strong it's almost stinging. This is very citrus forward. Taste of lime juice and slight bread. The alcohol is hidden well.
Medium bodied with creamy, low carbonation.
I couldn't stomach much of this. It's one dimensional (lime), and that dimension is stinging, citric, and somewhat tough to drink. I didn't get very far down my glass before calling it a waste.
