Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy straw yellow color with about 1/4 inch of white head that had low retention and moderate lacing.
A nice hit of bright lemon hits the nose first, and underneath you can pick up some light, grainy malt. A very nice blend of the two. The flavor was pretty similar, the grain had the front of the tongue, the lemony goodness had the rear, and the blended and balanced very well in the middle. A tart lemon flavor lingered a fair bit at the back of the palate.
The body was medium-light, which seems fairly typical for Shandy/Radler, and had a crisp, dry finish. Drinkability was very good indeed, the beer goes easy and you're thinking about another before ya know it. Overall, a pretty good take on the style. I've been on a bit of a Radler kick lately, and this one is a must try if you're looking for a crisp, refreshing beverage for this summer.
