Pours a very still dark brown with ruby red hues and a thin ring of head.
The smell is lightly fruity, earthy grains, rye, some pear and orange. The smell overall isn't pronounced. The flavor is white grape, tea leaves, a little toasted malt, but overly a watered down and rather flavorless beer. The finish is ok, but there is almost zero hop content or bitterness. Not really an ESB. Overall, this is drinkable, fine, but a miss in regards to traditional style.
