Wow this is a pretty delicious beer. The can is labeled "The Neapolitan Can" and well, this beer sort of does remind me of Neopolitan ice cream. Mostly in that it tastes like strawberries. I can fairly confidently say I've never had an IPA which tastes like strawberries.

Sweet hell this is a wild one. And seriously, I think it does taste like Neapolitan ice cream all mixed in one. It’s sweet like your co-worker that celebrates her puppies birthdays, but it also has the oh so familiar Hazy characteristics. Seriously, never had a beer that tastes like this before. It’s wild like the girl in HR that constantly defies the dress code.
Yep!

Poured from a 12 oz can.
Orange to smashed and oxidized peach in color. Kinda pretty. But wow, fluffy white head leaves sticky curtains of lacing.
Smell brings guava upfront, followed by a slightly acidic and sweet pineapple note. Some overripe blood orange comes in as well. Then there's this undercurrent of a cream pop like malty sweetness. Very intriguing.
Taste is more subdued, and the flavors don't solo as much as in the nose. A gentle bitterness is carried by some earthy tropical notes, not juicy, but wait. Then it does kinda come around to a subtle hint of juicy peach, and I swear I pick up a hint of either strawberry or watermelon. Er what? I know, sounds a bit strange. maybe I'm reaching for straws. Slight crackers malt and a smooth & lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is lite to medium. Carbonation is mellow but adds to a slightly fluffy feel.

Tasted from a 12 oz can in a goblet.
L - Turbid, completely opaque beer of a yellow-orange color. It looks like a slightly watered-down orange juice, or a mimosa. White head is moderately high on initial pour, then quickly fades to a thin sheet. Thick, sticky lacing on the glass.
S - Strong wallop of tropical fruit, citrus and pine hops aromas. Bready, warm malt in the background with some cracked grain. No alcohol nose.
T - Sharp, lemon-like hops start things out, then tropical fruit hops kick in, blending with an astringent, almost metallic taste. In mid-palate there is some bread-like malt, then the tropical fruit hops float in again in the finish.
F - Moderate to full body. Surprisingly low carbonation, but there is a creaminess on the tongue. Strong hops bitterness, but not an inferno. A small amount of alcohol heat.
O - I have not had too many New England IPAs and this is the first NE DIPA I've tried, so I don't have a lot of perspective; however, this was an enjoyable beer. The appearance is a little off-putting, but that apparently goes with the style. The only flaw I saw was the slight metallic taste in the mid-palate, but the rest of the experience smoothed that over.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a Dogfish head tulip
L: Cloudy golden pour. 2 fingers of foamy white head. Outstanding lacing.
S: Citrus and tropicals... juicy... lighter nose than I would have hoped for but not bad.
T/F: Cracked grains form the backbone for a typical New England style IPA juice bomb. Loads of citrus... more tangerine/orange flavor... definite grapefruit and pineapple. Juicy... bitterness is very well balanced. Oily... slick on the tongue. Finish is fruity... leaves you wanting more.
O: Really nice New England DIPA with a little different flavor/citrus profile. Very much enjoyed it... would happily drink any time.

Picked up a 16 oz Mason Jar from Craft Beer Quick Stop today for $4.00.
Beer poured a hazy orange with a nice white head that has some hang time.
Nose is fresh citrus, very nice!
Taste is good size malt base infused with orange and grapefruit forward hop addition. Finish is a definitive citrus rind.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall a nice beer but the rind finish was a detraction.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip
A: Pours a very hazy golden orange color with a creamy full head, lots of lacing, decent head retention, good amount of carbonation.
A: Lots of tropical aromas on this one, guava, peach skin, grapefruit peel, slight touch of pine, hint of malts to add a little balance.
T: Soft tropical notes like the nose, guava, peach skin, citrus peel, mango, moderate amount of citrus peel like bitterness in the middle, finish is very dry with more tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste, malts add a touch of balance.
M: Medium bodied with a very dry citrus peel-like finish, could use a little bit more carbonation.
O: A solid IIPA, lots of tropical notes along with some citrus and a touch of pine, very easy to drink, looking forward to trying another one of their NE IPAs as soon as possible.
