A:
Pours a hazy straw color with an airy white head that drops from two fingers to a scum. Meh retention; scummy lacing. (3.75)
S:
Bright fruity twang, horse bkanket, pepper, some pretty pronounced sulfur. (3.5)
T:
Pepper bite, earthy brett and light stone fruit. (3.75)
M:
Dry as could be, medium carbonation, refreshing and enjoyable. (4)
O:
Decent beer with a nice, unique yeast character.
It looks nice, though doesn't have a great head to it. The aroma is simultaneously the weak and the strong point. It has a nice, citrus-tropical fruit hightlight to its otherwise earthy nature. However, as it warms it becomes more and more sulfurous, which definitely takes away from it a little. The flavor is spicy (pepper) and earthy with a hint of the saner fruitiness. No sulfur there. Drinkable and crisp. A nice beer overall. (3.75)
