Had on tap at Mad Taco.

Pours translucent gold with white head. There aroma isn't bursting, but I'm not getting much in the form of esters either. It's a light and easy drinking saison without the aforementioned esters and the banana and clove flavors you come to expect from saisons. The mouthfeel is a little thin. Overall, I found this beer enjoyable and refreshing, but it was a lightweight compared to style.

this is a bit outside the lawsons wheelhouse if you ask me, they excel at many other things, but this is the first saison type i have had from them. its really well done though, delicate like some of their hoppy stuff, and sporting a pretty awesome hop profile that hints at mandarin orange and pineapple, juicy and fresh for sure. the saison aspect is a little less compelling, the yeast is under flavored in my opinion, not belgian or estery or anything, but just soft for the style. it ferments down pretty well though, and this ends up being on the dry side, there just isnt a whole lot of flavor coming from it. the wheat base is fluffy but light in feel, and fresh. it provides a fine platform for the hops, which are unique to saison in general. my impression of this one is that if they fermented it with a normal ale yeast, it would make a heck of a wheat ipa, but as a saison it leaves a little to be desired, namely on the yeast side. the hops are great in here though, and the beer is well composed as they all seem to be. not my favorite from these guys by a long shot, but definitely one to try.

I tried this on tap at Siptemberfest - one of the first I enjoyed at the event.

The color is a hazed golden with amber hue and thick white head with fine bead. The smell is faintly sweet with some yeast esters adding to the aroma. The feel is very good with mild sweetness and moderate carbonation with semi-dry finish.

The taste although describe as a rhubarb saison does not have much fruit or tartness -more yeast in the flavor with a slight toast and dry finish with gentle herbal accent. This was enjoyable as my first taste of a rhubarb beer other than my homebrew and it is refreshing unfortunately I was hoping for more rhubarb flavor, nonetheless it was a solid beer

Poured on tap at Mad Taco into a tumbler glass.

Murky to slightly turbid pineapple yellow body. Creamy one white finger head, dissolves somewhat quickly.

Aroma hits great spritzy lemon and orange notes. Citrus oil without the bitterness. Clean. Fresh green herbs, real inviting.

Palate comes with some surprises. Juiced pineapple, with tropical hop notes. Refreshing orange juice quality and manages a soft feel. Not much yeast character to this very neutral not even dry.

Juiced up saison quite refreshing and tasty, but in many ways doesn't remind me of one. Decent brew though.
