Brewed with loads of roasted and black malts and a hefty dose of Vermont maple syrup. Aged in American Oak Apple Brandy barrels and finished with locally roasted Carrier coffee beans and Vietnamese cinnamon.

My 5000th brew! ... but not all on BA. Pours a dark mahogany with a scant brown head. Nose is coffee, bittersweet chocolate, apple brandy and a touch of cinnamon. Taste is the same with maple, apple brandy and vanilla finishing with dry coffee and lingering cinnamon. Chewy but not thick. Nice job on balancing the disparate flavors. One of my favorites in the Fayston series.

Had this on 2020-05-16 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 2019 bottle.
The apple brandy flavor really came through in this beer, with more emphasis on the apple rather than the brandy. It somewhat like mixing some apple cider in with an Imperial Stout. Medium body and light carbonation. I found the cinnamon notes appealing. Didn't get much coffee. I really enjoyed this one!

Had at the brewery in a snifter glass.
Dark brown-black with a creamy brown head.
Apple notes to the initial nose.
Also nice apple taste riding on top of the regular Fayston Imperial Stout.
Nice notes of coffee and cinnamon.
The non-coffee/cinnamon version was not tap so bought a bottle for later.
But overall - a very nice holiday treat!

Dark brown / black appearance with a sparse fleeting tan head. Brandy, apple, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, fudge notes. Moderate to thick body, silky, lightly carbonated.
