Reviewed from long-standing notes. Poured from 32 oz. crowler into a Cigar City pint glass.

A: Very hazy yellow, average carbonation, and a one finger white head that fades pretty quickly.

S: Tart and tangy, with lemony citric acid, wheat with mild grainy character. Citrus-forward hops.

T: Tart, citric, lemony, plus orange and grapefruit hops. Cracker malt with a bit of huskiness near the end. Quick finish with lingering citric acid.

M: Light-bodied, good carbonation sensation, and low alcohol presence.

O: I like this one. Not overly funky or anything, but it was solidly made.

Thanks Emmas friend and then Emma for sharing the crowler. Full notes taken last night during a mini tasting of sorts.

A- Superbly hazy and uber pale hardly even yellow body to a bunch of pint glasses. A large white crown rises to a few fingers with a thick creamy texture and good retention. Big sheet at the top and some drizzle down below.

S- Tropical fruits found in a lot of modern IPAs like melon, passion fruit and mango joined by a unique Berliner like dusty grain and lactic presence.

T- Seems to gain a juicy fruitiness that the nose doesn't fully have like ripe mango, orange and tangerine juice leading to the lactic sours aforementioned. Dank hops moreso than the smell. Lemon sours linger.

MF- Light bodied as the name might suggest but the texture is fairly creamy and supports the unique sour hoppiness. Slightly bitter but the lactic takes precedence.

I like the concept. To me it is like a very sour Berliner style with some dank fruity hops thrown in.

The name sour session IPA threw off my expectations a bit, dry hopped sour session beer might be more accurate. Lightly hoppy with citrus and just a bit of pine in the aroma, the flavor is full of clean tartness, light malt and just a hint of fruity hop character. Light, but not overly thin, it is very drinkable.

On tap at the CC Brewery.
Initially tasted blind and accurately assessed as a sour IPA.
This could be a disaster but it certainly is not. More tart than bitter but the boss address not lost in the mix. Highly tart and and loaded with citrus flavor, presumably from both the hops and the yeast.

O: strong flavor, intimidating aroma. Low ABV.

This is my first sour so I'm not reliable in my review. This is a very pleasant beverage to drink. Tastes like lemonade with a nice light hop at the end. My fiancé enjoyed it which is rare, so I found it a pleasant experience to enjoy with others.
