16.9oz bottle poured into a snifter. Bottling date of 08/22/19 etched on the neck of the bottle. Excessive and Lustful Kissing is an American whiskey and rye whiskey-aged Barleywine with cherries and vanilla.
Sweet barleywine nose with oak and vanilla notes from the whiskey barrels. Faint cherries in the background that become more prevalent as the beer warms in the glass. The taste features a lot of sweetness up front. Some mild tartness in the finish presumably from the cherries. Big lingering warmth in the finish from the high ABV. This beer is truly a slow sipper and once I looked up the ABV I wasn’t surprised.

Starts with a great malty / molasses smell. Drinks smooth, not real heavy on the tongue. Great tastes of all the things that you would expect from a limited CCB release. Finishes with the nice warming that comes from a 14.4
