Cigar City Brewery Exclusive Release. 12.4% ABV.
Twelve oz can poured at 53° into a Cigar City snifter. Nice inch of thin foam rises and departs.
Smell is cherry cola and prune.
Taste is good base Stout, no barrel aging, Cheerwine (look it up.,) pops in right up front, I couldn’t find any coconut though. Little burn at finish.
Feel is slickly smooth, very drinkable.
Overall, this Stout feels incomplete - maybe a barrel aged version would accent the subtleties that I think are in there, somewhere.
