brewed last year and now reappeared on tap at the brewery. farmhouse beer fashioned as a harvest beer, spiked with some fruit, i think they said huckleberry, although im not perfectly sure. any fruit in this though has been totally consumed by the brett and other cultures in here. smells weirdly new, like cereal dust from the bottom of the bag of cheerios, which i think is found more commonly in new rather than old brett beer, but here it is, really aromatic and flavorful too, dominating even. thats the brett, and as mature as it is, im not sure i love its profile with what else is going on. its overpowering and makes me have to search for the fruit, which i only find in a slight orange pink hue to the beer and in a mild sweetness that lingers after the swallow. anything else on the fruit is long gone. seems also a little less grain interesting than some other trinity saison types, although i enjoy the beer quite a lot as it is. well carbonated and very distinct in its flavoring. solid brew, but my least favorite of the three i had here today by a long shot.
