Made my way over to Trinity Brewing in Colorado Springs before meeting Nick out on a recent work trip. Could not decide what to have after trying a can of Hype Forager, but eventually decided on The Funky Juice.

Poured a pale hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. No bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled body odor up front. That was a lot of Brett. Also blood orange, pineapple, pulpy orange juice, white grapefruit and sugary floral. (Smell - 3.75)

Tasted maybe better than the nose. Body odor, big blood orange, Juicy Fruit, pineapple, pulpy orange juice, floral, white grapefruit and sugary floral. The big ABV was well hidden. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.00)

Was an outstanding beer, even with the Brett, which I’m not always a fan of. (Overall - 4.00)
